Privacy Notice
Early-access waiting list · Last updated 16 October 2026
1. Who is responsible for your information
moMind is an early-stage maternal wellbeing project currently operated by Andreea Chiș in the United Kingdom. moMind is not yet incorporated as a separate legal entity.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Andreea Chiș is the data controller responsible for personal information collected through this website.
Privacy contact: andreea@momind.app. If moMind later becomes a company, we will update this notice and tell people on the waiting list before their information is transferred to it.
2. What we collect through the sign-up form
- Your first name and email address.
- Your country.
- Whether you are signing up as a mother or a father/partner.
- Your stage (for example pregnant, mother, pregnant with children, planning for pregnancy, or the partner equivalents).
- Your youngest child's age range, if you have children.
- Optionally, your due month and year (never an exact date), if pregnant.
- Optionally, your phone number.
- Which wearable devices you own or would consider, if any.
- Optionally, your main frustration with current wearable insights, and whether you are open to a 15-minute research call.
- Your consent choices and the date and time you signed up.
We do not collect any wearable data. We only ask which device you own. moMind does not currently connect to any wearable, and we do not receive heart rate, sleep, HRV or any other readings. Charts shown on the website use fictional example data.
3. Pregnancy information is treated as health data
Information about pregnancy, a due month, or planning for pregnancy may be "special category" health data under UK GDPR. We only store it with your explicit consent, which you give through a separate, unticked checkbox on the form (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(a)). You cannot join without it because the waiting list is built around your stage, but you may withdraw it at any time — we will then delete your sign-up, as we cannot keep your entry without that information.
If you sign up as a father or partner, the information you give about your partner's pregnancy relates to her as well. Please only share it if you are comfortable she would agree.
4. Why we use it and our lawful bases
Managing the early-access waiting list
To record your place, contact you about early access and tell you when you can try moMind. Lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), plus explicit consent for health information (Article 9(2)(a)).
Customer research
To understand who is interested and which problems matter most, using your stage, wearable and frustration answers, mostly in aggregate. If you said yes to a research call, we may email or, if you gave it, phone you to arrange one. Lawful basis: your consent, given by submitting these optional answers and choosing "Yes" for the call. No automated SMS is sent.
Optional marketing
Only if you ticked the separate product news box, we may send occasional updates about moMind beyond your early-access invitation. Lawful basis: consent (and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). Unsubscribe any time.
Early-access messages vs marketing
Early-access messages are about your waiting-list place (confirmations, your invitation, changes to this notice). Marketing is anything else, and is only sent if you opted in.
Keeping the form safe
We use a hidden field and a timing check to block automated spam submissions. These do not identify you.
5. Service providers and international transfers
We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. The website and its database run on the following providers, acting on our behalf:
- Lovable (Lovable Labs Incorporated, Sweden) — website builder and hosting, including Lovable Cloud.
- Supabase — the database behind Lovable Cloud where sign-ups are stored. Sign-ups are stored on servers in the European Union (Ireland).
- Cloudflare — serves the website and processes technical request data such as IP addresses.
- Lovable Emails — sends an internal notification to Andreea when someone joins the waiting list, containing the details from the form. It is not used to email people who sign up.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the EU and the United States. Transfers to the EU rely on the UK's adequacy regulations for the EU/EEA. Where a provider processes data in the United States or another country, we rely on the safeguards in that provider's data processing terms, such as the UK–US Data Bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
We do not currently use any analytics or advertising tracking on this website. If we add an analytics tool, we will update this notice first and, where required, ask for your consent.
6. How we store and protect it
Sign-ups are stored in a database that is not publicly readable: submissions are written only by our server, and access is limited to the controller. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We collect only what the form asks for.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while the waiting list and early research are running, and delete it when you ask or withdraw consent. We keep your sign-up for up to one year from the date you joined, after which it is deleted. If the moMind project stops, all waiting-list data will be deleted.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, or withdraw any consent (waiting list, health information, research call or marketing) at any time by emailing andreea@momind.app. Withdrawal does not affect use before you withdrew. We aim to reply within one month.
